LAST DANCE OF THE YEAR!

Join us for the biggest MARION COUNTY dance of the year!

**OUR LAST DANCE FOR 2016!**

WHEN: OCTOBER 29TH

WHERE: MCINTOSH METHODIST CHURCH

An energetic night of family-friendly fun! Come out to downtown McIntosh for contra and line dancing PLUS an all-new SWING DANCE segment! 

THREE different dance styles packed into ONE AWESOME NIGHT!

**Tentative schedule**

6-9pm: Contra Dance

9:00-9:30: Line Dance

9:30-11:00: East Coast Swing!

Aren't familiar with East Coast Swing? No worries! We'll have instructors on site to help teach you the basics and get you started! 

All are welcome! No previous experience necessary! 

Only $10 per person, for 5 hours of dance! Kids 8 and under get in free! (You are welcome to only stay for part of the dance if you want, but we definitely hope you'll stick around for the whole thing!)

Our band for the contra dance segment will be the Mourning Glories! 

Our contra caller will be Alice Milmoe!
Swing instructors from the Florida Swing Dancing Club!

No Dance This Month

Hey y'all, just letting you know we are taking a brief hiatus from the McIntosh contra dances for May, and June also tentatively. It has been a bit of a financial drain on me, and also I have been traveling, working, and otherwise just very busy. 

Thanks for understanding! See y'all in July, Lord willing!

Take a trip to Middle Earth!

THIS MONTH!

Join us for a Middle Earth themed old-fashioned contra dance in historic McIntosh Florida!

WHEN: March 26th, 6:45-10pm

WHERE: McIntosh Methodist Church

Family-friendly fun for all ages and dance skill-levels! 

No partner required!

Come dressed as your favorite Tolkien character, or anything Middle Earth inspired. (Costumes are encouraged but not required. As with all our dances, you are free to wear whatever you like just please keep it modest and appropriate.)

Our caller will be Kristin Farrier, and the Fish Camp Cut-Ups will be providing live music!

Only $7 per person. Kids 8 and under free!

Please bring a snack to share if you plan to eat during the intermission.

Hi y'all!

Just informing you that this month's McIntosh family contra dance will be on February 27th, from 6:45-10 pm, at the same place as always - McIntosh Methodist Church right off HWY 441. 

We will be having Possum Trot as our band for the night (love their music!) and caller Alice Milmoe! It's gonna be FUN! The month's theme is redneck/camo, if you want to participate in the theme and dress accordingly. 

In order to cover expenses, the entry donation/fee has been raised to $7 a person. Kids 8 and under are still free. 

Please bring a snack to share if you plan on snacking during intermission.

IMPORTANT Update on New Year's Formal Date!

Greetings all!

Due to a technical mishap, (the folks in charge of our venue accidentally double booked) we have to reschedule the New Year's Formal to February 6th, 6:45 to 10pm. It will be in the same location - McIntosh Methodist church. 

Please help us get the word out and notify anyone you know who was planning to go, so that nobody wastes their time by showing up this Saturday to the wrong function.
